We are tracking all the remaining undefeated teams in DI women's volleyball for the 2025 season. There are still two undefeated.
Since 1981, there have been only four programs — five teams — to finish a season undefeated and win a national title: Penn State (2008, 2009), Southern California (2003), Nebraska (2000) and Long Beach State (1998).

Penn State holds the longest win streak in DI women's volleyball history with 109 match victories from 2007-10, with the Nittany Lions winning four consecutive titles (2007 through 2010). The 2009 title team is the most recent undefeated champion.

Undefeated DI women's volleyball teams in 2025
- No. 1 Nebraska (20-0): The Huskers' started conference play with eleven sweeps over Big Ten foes, most recently over Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 25. Their 20-0 record is their best start since winning their first 27 matches in 2023. Next: vs. Michigan State on Saturday, Oct. 25.
- No. 2 Texas (18-0): Texas earned its eighteenth win of the season at LSU on Sunday, Oct. 25. It's tied for the Longhorns' best start to a season since 2021. Next: at Texas A&M on Friday, Oct. 31.
